Patrick Tan began experimenting with single line kites and in August 2009, and the iFlite was born. The iFlite was designed to fly in confined spaces, like the living rooms of most apartments. It was born out of necessity as the outdoor space for kite flying began shrinking due to urban developments. The vented version of the iFlite is reported to perform much smoother in the air, but is much faster. It is best suted for advanced quick tricks. The iFlite is hand-made by Patrick Tan in Singapore. Each kite is numbered and signed.
