| Hello everyone, this is the official newsletter for KiteStop.com. You are receiving this because you are registered on our discussion forum, have purchased something from our store, signed up specifically for our newsletter, or have otherwise communicated with me.
It is extremely important that you know how to remove yourself from this e-mailing list. Please use the link at the bottom of this email to unsubscribe from our mailing list. WHAT’S NEW I hope everyone is having a great summer. I know its been awhile since I’ve sent one of these newsletters out, and I know you’ve been waiting patiently by the computer wondering when you were going to get a newsletter from Kitestop. In all seriousness though, I hope you’ve been able to get out and enjoy the spring/summer. Back in March I upgraded and re-designed the website. The biggest change you will notice is the ability to post Product Reviews. This is a great way to let everyone know what you think of our products, and also make a better decision about the products you want to buy. So if you haven’t been back in awhile, I’d love to hear what you think of the new site. As some of you may have known, around the same time I was re-designing KiteStop.com, I also moved back home to Titusville, FL. While you’d think this isn’t that big of a deal, its taken me quite a while to update all the information on the Internet to reflect my new location. Kite Stop is still online-only, but if you are in Central Florida (Orlando/Cocoa Beach) I’m able to deliver locally. Other things you may noticed is that I’m getting in a lot more skill-toys (boomerangs, yo-yos, and other flying toys). These products provide an alternative for when the wind dies down, or it gets too cold to venture outside. Don’t just jump on the computer/XBox/Playstation, get out and move around! If there is something special you are looking to buy, but don’t see it listed in our shop, please do not hesitate to ask me, and I will do my best to try and find it for you. NEW SKILLTOYS! Over the last few months, I’ve really been trying to bring in some “non-kiting” stuff that I think you might like. While we are, and will remain a kite shop, I think its important to carry complimentary items that you just can’t find at the local Walmart or Target. If you have any new ideas for products that you’d like to see at Kitestop.com, please let me know. Yo-Yos Our friends over at YoYo Factory have provided us with a complete line of yo-yos. Yes. Yo-yos. I know that its been awhile since I’ve “thrown a yo” and I’m willing to bet its been awhile for you too. Rediscover the joy by picking one of these babys up in our Yo-Yo Section. Air-Yo
They retail for only $20 and you can check them out in our Flying Toys section. NEW STUNT KITES How could I go this far without telling you all about the new stunt kites? Prism has re-designed some of their older kites, and SkyDog has released a new kite by Dodd Gross.
Just like their bigger brother (the Quantum), Prism re-designed the sail pattern on these beginner kites. These little beauties are great for travelers, and for those that want a solid, but inexpensive kite to start out with. They pack up small enough to fit in a carry-on or backpack. The Prism Nexus stunt kite retails for $65.
Prism created a new sail design for their wildly popular Quantum stunt kite line. This kite design is awesome for the intermediate kite pilot that may have outgrown their first kite. We still have a few of the older sail designs, but once we sell them, thats it. So if you like the older style, don’t procrastinate! The Prism Quantum stunt kite retails for $99.99.
New for this year, SkyDog Kites has released the Black Dog. Dodd Gross designed this kite to be an introductory kite for those kite pilots that want to move up to advanced slack-line tricks. Featuring covered fittings, yo-yo stoppers and a weight system, this bad boy has all the features of a more expensive big-wing kites, but won’t put a huge dent in your wallet. You can pick up a Black Dog for $119.99. Check out more freestyle stunt kites at: Advanced Stunt Kite section. WE NEED YOUR HELP Since this email newsletter goes out primarily to my past and current customers, I’d like to ask for a favor. If you received great service and are happy with your purchase (which I hope you had), please logon to Google and post a review of your experience. If you aren’t happy with your purchase, or there was an issue with your service, I would ask you to please let me know immediately so that I can try and fix it. And as always, get out there and fly your kite/s. When someone asks, I’d appreciate it greatly if you told them where you got it. GET SOCIAL
