Hi. My name is John Lutter. I've been involved in kiting for well over 15 great years. I've flown kites in at Sea World, around cruise ships, in Tienanmen Square in China, and all over the East Coast of the US.

Simply stated, I love kites.

Back in 2001, I was working in the internet industry in the Washington DC area, and I decided to utilize my expertise in web development combined with my passion for kiteflying to create Kitestop.com. Over the years, this site has gone through numerous changes. Originally developed as an e-magazine (a precursor to "Blogs") where I would comment on events, kites, and everything in between. I even had a brick and mortar shop in Cocoa Florida for awhile.
